Eva Meadows of Slidell Louisiana passed away peacefully at home March 6, 2024 at the age of 54. Eva was born to Glenn Allen Meadows, and Dolores Ann Taylor in New Orleans, Louisiana on March 22, 1969.
Eva was preceded in death by her mother Dolores Taylor, her father Glenn Meadows, and brother Chad Meadows.
After fighting her battle with cancer for a year and a half she leaves behind her children, Laura Ann Carter (Justin) Emily Jeannine Patton, stepdaughter, Nicole Melissa Carden (Jeffery). Brother Jason Meadows. Grandchildren Everly Grace Carter, Charlie Truett Carter, Nicholas Revolta, Bryanna Revolta, Sophia Carrion, and Gunner Carden.
Eva was a nurse at Ochsner throughout her lifetime. In her free time she loved spending time with her grandbabies and her family. Taking care of her plants and animals, as well as cooking, brought her immense joy. She has left behind a void that will never be filled and will be greatly missed by all who had the honor of knowing her and enjoying her delicious meals that were always made with love.
A celebration of life will be held in her honor at a later date.
