Eva Maria Parzentny, age 83, passed away on 01 March 2025. She was born on 16 August 1941 to Gerda Fochert in Berlin, Germany. In 1961 married Bernhard A. Parzentny. They were married over 60 years prior to his passing on 28 March 2022. Together they traveled extensively across the United States and Europe with over 20 years active-duty service with the United States Air Force including three separate year-long remote assignments including Vietnam shortly after they were married. Ben and Eva retired in Panama City, Florida and remained residents for 45 years. Eva will be remembered for being a strong and loving supportive military wife, mother, grandmother, and friend. Eva is predeceased by her son, Daniel Bernhard Parzentny, her husband Ben, and her parents. She is survived by her daughter Sylvia, and two grandchildren Luke and Eva.
Funeral Services will be held on 28 March 2025 at 2:00pm at Evergreen Memorial Gardens, 3733 US-231, Panama City, Florida 32404. Inquiries on funeral arrangements can be made at Kent Forest Lawn Funeral Home, ph. (850) 763-4694.
Interment will take place at Evergreen Memorial Gardens following the priest blessing by St. Dominics Catholic Church. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to the American Cancer Society or the Church.
