Eva Siil

Eva Siil, 87, of Wood Dale, Illinois, passed away December 1, 2025. Born in Yugoslavia to the late Mathias and Maria (nee Lovacovic) Zimmer, preceded in death by her loving husband Voldemar of over 50 years. Eva raised four boys and was in turn gifted with four daughters-in-law, six grandchildren and four great grandchildren. Eva loved to bake and shared her talents with friends, family and neighbors. Her garden was the envy of the neighborhood, and she could make anything grow and bloom – including plumeria from Hawaii. Eva will be greatly missed, but her memory will live on in her recipes.
A visitation will be held at Geils Funeral Home, 260 West Irving Park Road, Wood Dale, IL 60191 on Friday 12/5/2025 from 4:00PM to 8:00PM. There will be a final viewing at the funeral home on Saturday, 12/6/2025 from 8:30AM to 9:30AM with a procession to Ridgewood Memorial Park in Des Plaines, Illinois for a graveside service.
