Ruth Hart Obituary
Ruth was a constant. The church was center and she believed in the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit. When it came to friends and family, she was ever present. The library was her refuge and knitting was a hobby that she loved and a talent that she mastered. Ruth, Mom, Grandma was all of this and more. She was OUR center; all of ours. She was the "Hart" and she will be missed...dearly.
Ruth is survived by her children: Thomas E. (Geralyn) Hart, Judy Carbonaro, Richard P. Hart, Jack W. (late Sybil) Hart, Judith A. (Larry) Bazaar, Mary J. (Leonard) Domzalski, Patrick J. (Geralynn) Hart, and Victoria R. (Joseph) Cullotta; her grandchildren: Yvonne, Jacinda, Duane, Danielle, Roy, Danny, Jeremy, Julie, Nicole, Renee, Jennifer, Benjamin, Matthew, Hannah, Joseph, Thomas and James; and many, many great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her son James F. Hart.
A visitation will be held at Geils Funeral Home, 260 West Irving Park Road, Wood Dale, Illinois from 8:00AM to 9:30AM on Friday, January 9, 2026 from followed by a mass of christian burial at 10:00AM at St. Peter the Apostle Catholic Church, 551 North Rush Street, Itasca, IL 60143. Procession to Ridgewood Memorial Park, Des Plaines, Illinois. In lieu of flowers, please make a donation to the Alzheimer's Foundation of America or the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital in honor of Ruth.
