Evan King Obituary
Evan was born January 1, 1941, the son of the late Betty Jane Rentzel and Evan L. King, Sr., also the late step father Russell Rentzel.
Evan was a graduate of Savannah High School, Savannah, Georgia. He retired from the Commonwealth of PA. He served three years in the US Navy.
In addition to his wife Susan he is also survived by daughters Monique Barshinger (Craig), Dr. Bobbi Patton, Dana Goodling and a son Randy King. Five Grandsons and five granddaughters, numerous great grandchildren. A sister Marilyn McCord (Donald) of Savannah, Georgia. He was preceded in death by a daughter Tammy Morrison, a son in law Barry Barshinger and two brothers, Donald and Rusty.
A visitation will be 10-11 am Saturday April 27, 2024 at the John W. Keffer Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. 2114 W. Market St. York. A Memorial Service will follow at 11 am with military rites by the York County Veteran Honor Guard and services by the Rev. Barry Yingling. Burial will be private at a later date.

Dear Susan, we all are deeply sadden to hear of Evan´s passing, he was wonderful to Daddy, and very kind to all of us, as were you! He was indeed your soulmate
We were also shock to see that you lost Tammy also! How heartbreaking to learn of these two sad events, as you are such a kind soul! Please know you will be in all our thoughts and prayers. May God´s strong and supportive arms hold you tightly today and for many tomorrows. The Topley Family
