June Randall Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Boulding Mortuary, Inc. on Mar. 19, 2026.
"When He calls me, I will answer.

I'll be somewhere listening for my name"

June Beverly Randall, Born on September 30, 1931, beloved mother, grandmother, great grandmother, great great-grandmother, aunt, cousin and friend departed this life on Friday, March 6, the year 2026. After 94 years of life...she rested. June was the youngest of 5 siblings born to the late Bernice Copeland and Jesse Hawkins Jr. All have proceeded her in death.

June received her education through the Baltimore City public school system. After Graduation she married and two children were born: John Spruill and Audrey Couser. She later remarried to the late James Randall and from that union Carl, Glenn, Brian and Crystal were born.

Most of her work experience was in the area of domestic service, homecare and childcare. She was very good at her job.

Mama, as she was affectionately known, exhibited a kind, pleasant, loving and caring spirit. Her home was the drop by house where all of us were always welcomed and came for a good home cooked meal. Ma knew everybody's favorite. From the big pots of chili to the collard greens, potato salad and corn pudding. And don't forget the apple pie! She loved playing the lottery, waiting on 604 to hit just one more time! She loved traveling to New York every fall for shopping and to see a Broadway play and the slot machines in Atlantic City. But, most of all were our family trips down route 360 to Virgilina Virginia. A caravan of cars going to visit Aunt Rose and Uncle Jesse.

As the years passed, Mama became ill and could not do a lot of things on her own. She made the best of worry free time by sitting outside in the sun soaking up the vitamin D. She also enjoyed some food favorites such as fried shrimp, onion rings and ice cream sundaes.

Her children spoiled her and were there to surround her with the love, support and comfort needed during these times.

Through this journey one of the greatest lessons truly learned, is that after a certain age, your parents slowly become your children. They ask simple questions, repeat stories, and depend on your patience, the way you once depended on theirs. Very few people understand this role reversal. What looks like or feels like inconvenience is really time that becomes full circle. Don't correct them harshly. Don't rush them. Care for them the way they once protected you. This is not a burden. It is repayment, wrapped as LOVE.

Mama leaves to cherish beautiful memories, her children, Audrey Couser, Glenn Randall (Yvette), Brian Randall (Kathy), Crystal Bishop (Jermaine). Sons John Spruill and Carl Randall whom have already received their wings, her grandchildren, Guy Ford, Anthony Couser, Rachel Randall, Jakia Mouzone, (Andre), Brandi Carter, Carl Randall Jr. and Shelly Landrum (Mark), 10 great-grandchildren and 4 great great-grandchildren, And a host of nIeces, nephews, relatives and friends.

The family extends a sincere thank you and appreciation to Pastor and Lady Michelle Walthour and the Shiloh Baptist church family, our neighbors, family and friends who offered love, support and comfort during these times. May God continue to shower many blessings upon you all.
