Evangelist Darlene Anita Scott Benns, age 65, of 5003 Bear Trap Road, Wilson, North Carolina transitioned from labor to reward on Thursday, October 23, 2025. A celebration of life will be Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 at 1 pm at Abundant Life Church Ministries, 2965 Forest Hills Rd. SW, Wilson, NC. Interment will follow in the Maplewood Cemetery, 400 College St. NE, Wilson, NC.
A public viewing will be Saturday, Nov. 8, 2025 from 12 pm to 1 pm at Abundant Life. The family is receiving friends at the residence daily from 5 pm to 9 pm and will assemble there on Saturday, Nov. 8 at 12 pm in preparation for the funeral procession. Please keep the Scott and Benns Family in your thoughts and prayers during this difficult time.
