Evelia Broussard Obituary
Jeanette went to be with her Lord surrounded by her family.
She is survived by one daughter, Katherine Lynn Hargrave; one son, Russell Steven Broussard and his wife, Fay Marie; five grandchildren, Leslie and her husband, Tim Barrientes of Humble, TX, Ryeland Broussard of Conroe, TX, Kyle Broussard of Willis, TX, Jenna Hurst and husband, Kelly of Spring, TX and Jessica Goynes and husband, Bobby of Spring, TX. Jeanette is also survived by two loving sisters-in-law and one brother-in-law, Helen Perrin of Athens, TX and Bea and her husband, Floyd Weber of Kaplan, LA; 16 great grandchildren; eight great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by husband of 68 years, Robert "Bob" Broussard; her parents, Ambrose Toups and the former Susan Bourgeois; one sister, Teresa Toups; one brother, Lloyd Ray Toups; brothers-in-law, Gerald Dunaway and Albert Perrin; and one sister-in-law, Bernice Dunaway.
The family requests that visiting hours be observed at Vincent Funeral Home - Kaplan, 300 N. Eleazar Ave., on Saturday, January 13, 2024 from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM. Visitation will continue Sunday, January 14, 2024 from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM when the procession departs for the cemetery.
