Evelin Lemus, 30 años, de Elgin, IL, y anteriormente de Hanover Park, IL, falleció el 25 de febrero de 2024. Nació el 18 de diciembre de 1993 en México de sus amorosos padres, Saul Lemus y Petra Dimas.
Evelin se graduó de Bartlett High School, clase del 2012. Era una persona muy tranquila, pero una vez que la gente la conoció, pudieron ver su lado sarcástico. Ella era muy amorosa y cariñosa, y siempre estaba ahí para escuchar. Amaba a toda su familia especialmente a su mamá y lo único que quería era ver a su madre siempre feliz. Le encantaba ver a su madre sonreír y cantar.
A Evelin le gustaba escribir y le gustaba el anime y el manga. Le gustaba la tecnología y también le gustaba coleccionar antigüedades. Le encantaba ir a la biblioteca y le gustaba caminar bajo la lluvia. También le gusta escuchar música todo el tiempo.
A Evelin le sobreviven sus padres, Saul y Petra Lemus; hermanos, Jaqueline Lemus, Gabriela Lemus y Jesús E. Lemus; sobrinos, Anayra, Aarón, Záreth y Tadeo y cuñado; Luis Ávila.
El velorio será de 10:30 a. m. a 12:30 p. m., el viernes 1 de marzo de 2024 en Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
La misa se llevará a cabo a la 1:00 pm en la Iglesia St. Mary de Elgin, 400 Fulton Street, Elgin, IL 60120. El Rev. Lisandro Cristancho oficiará.
El entierro se realizará a continuación en el cementerio de Bluff City, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.

Evelin Lemus, age 30, of Elgin, IL, and formerly of Hanover Park, IL, passed away on February 25, 2024. She was born December 18, 1993 in Mexico to her loving parents, Saul Lemus and Petra Dimas.
Evelin graduated from Bartlett High School, Class of 2012. She was a very quiet person, but once people got to know her, they got to see her sarcastic side. She was very caring and loving, and was always there to listen. She especially loved her mom and wanted her to always be happy.
Evelin enjoyed writing, and liked anime and manga. She liked technology, and also enjoyed collecting antiques. She loved to go to the library, and enjoyed walking in the rain.
Evelin is survived by her parents, Saul and Petra Lemus; siblings, Jaqueline Lemus, Gabriela Lemus, and Jesus E. Lemus; and nieces and nephews, Anayra, Aaron, Zareth, and Tadeo.
Visitation will be 10:30am to 12:30pm, Friday, March 1, 2024 at Symonds-Madison Funeral Home, 305 Park Street, Elgin, IL 60120.
Mass will be held at 1:00pm at St. Mary Church of Elgin, 400 Fulton Street, Elgin, IL 60120. Rev. Lisandro Cristancho will be officiating.
Interment to follow at Bluff City Cemetery, 945 Bluff City Boulevard, Elgin, IL 60120.
