Evelyn Cano Obituary

Born March 19, 1937 in Downey, Idaho to James and Leona Clegg Campbell. She married Emilio Cano on June 5, 1954 in Salt Lake City, Utah. They were sealed to one another on February 25, 1955 in the Salt Lake Temple. She lived in Idaho and Utah in her early years and later in Denver, Colorado 1968-1976; Twin Falls, Idaho 1976-1980 and again in Denver from 1980 until recent. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting, scrapbooking, crafting and reading. She was active in The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints serving in many organizations.
Survived by children: John Cano, Debra (Gary) Schwartz, Michael (Shirley) Cano, Terry (Nancy) Cano, Karma (Michael) Parsons; 13 grandchildren, 27 great-grandchildren; brother, Allan (Susan) Campbell. She was preceded in death by her husband, Emilio "Mike" Cano, her parents, James and Leona Campbell and her brother, Jerry L. Campbell.
Funeral services will be held Friday, November 21, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Jenkins-Soffe Funeral Home, 1007 W. South Jordan Parkway, South Jordan, UT 84095 where family may call from 10:00 to 10:45 a.m. prior to the service.
Interment to follow at Memorial Redwood Mortuary and Cemetery 6500 S. Redwood Rd, Salt Lake City, UT 84123
