Evelyn Diddens Obituary
Evelyn married Alvin Diddens January 26, 1946 in German Valley, IL; he passed away September 12, 2010. Evelyn worked on the family farm for decades, JC Penney's for 25 years, and also sold Avon for 35 years.
Evelyn is survived by two sons, Gordon and Lynn (Ottenhausen) Diddens of Liberty Lake, WA and Doug and Candy (Untersee) Diddens of Freeport, IL; brother, Bob and Donna (Willemssen) of German Valley, IL; five grandchildren, Jennifer (Andrew) Greenfield of Beverly MA, Kelly (Jason) Abair of Superior, CO, Chad (Janine) Diddens of San Antonio, TX, April (Jason) Fyok of German Valley, IL, and Meridith Diddens of San Jose, CA; and 16 great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband; two sons, Gary Alvin Diddens and Jerry Lee Diddens; two sisters, Mae Stein and Betty Plock; and grandson, Adam Diddens.
A memorial service will be held 11:00 A.M. Thursday December 15, 2022 at Burke-Tubbs Funeral Home with Rev. Gavin Brandt officiating. Visitation will be from 10:00 A.M. until the time of service. Private family burial of cremains will be in Silver Creek Cemetery, German Valley, IL. A memorial has been established in Evelyn's memory. Please visit www.burketubbs.com to share a memory of Evelyn.

Evelyn and her husband were such nice people. I remember many visits to their home. I would have an avon order, but would alsays be welcome in for a visit.Such kind people.
