Evelyn Dodson Obituary
A native of DeKalb County, Alabama, Evelyn was the wife of Ronnie Howard Dodson, who survives and the daughter of John Crawford Doss and Jennie Gertrude Yancey Doss, both deceased.
Evelyn retired after working many years from Tommy's Mini Mart in Mebane. She loved spending time with her family and working in her flower gardens. She also enjoyed trips to the beach.
She is survived by her three children; Cindy Stanley and her husband Keith of Siler City, and Brad Hill and his wife Michelle of Elon, Billie D. Wilson of Graham; bonus daughter, Melissa Morgan and her husband Kevin of Burlington; five grandchildren, Christina Martin, Makayla Best and her husband Tucker, Savannah Hill, Bailey Hill, Tina Headen; five bonus grandchildren, Blake, Brooklynn, Brealynn, Blaydon, Braxton Morgan; and eight great grandchildren, Shianne, Kemper, Kullen, Krilan, Keeson, Kestin, Kainen, and Kolver.
She was preceded in death by her daughter, Connie Griffin and her seven siblings.
A Celebration of life service will be held on Wednesday, August 27, 2025 at 5:00 pm in the Rich & Thompson Chapel in Burlington. The family will receive friends following the service.
