Evelyn N. Fee September 14, 1925 – October 17, 2025 Evelyn N. Fee, 100, passed away peacefully on the morning of October 17, 2025, in St. Augustine, Florida. Born in Sanford, Florida, on September 14, 1925, Evelyn was the beloved daughter of Joseph and Velma Niblack (née Venable) and the cherished sister of Jeanette Guidry and Jo Campbell. She was a graduate of Hillsborough High School in Tampa. In 1946, Evelyn married the love of her life, Russell J. Fee Jr., and together they embarked on a lifetime of adventure. Their journey took them across the globe - from Indiana to England, Australia, Virginia, and ultimately back to Florida - building a life rich in experience and a multitude of friends. Evelyn especially cherished her time living overseas, with England holding a special place in her heart. She was a devoted mother to Russell J. Fee III (Joan), Brett R. Fee, and Dawn Fee Goldbach (Frank), and a proud grandmother to Heather Fee Alvarez (Juan Pedro), John Fee (Ashley), Patrick Fee, Ashley Fee (Rich), Holly Fee (Ryan), Rowan Fee (Sarah), Shannon Goldbach, Charlotte Lyn Goldbach, and Collin Goldbach. Evelyn was also blessed with six great- grandchildren: Claire, Hazel, Andy, Ash, Desi, and Robin. She made friends wherever she went - there wasn't a place she touched without forming a meaningful bond. She found pleasure in playing golf and bridge, crafting beautiful creations, and exploring the digital world. A "techie" to the very end, she was always eager to learn the latest technologies and master new tools on her computer. Her motto, "bloom where you are planted," wasn't just a saying - it was how she lived. Evelyn also gave her time generously, serving as a den mother for Cub Scouts and Blue Birds and supporting her community with quiet dedication. She had a playful side too - especially when it came to April Fools' Day, which she relished with mischievous delight, often targeting her husband with clever pranks that became family legends. She was predeceased by her husband, Russ, and sisters Jeannette Guidry and Jo Campbell. Evelyn will be remembered for her sharp mind, her steady presence, and the joy she brought to every room she entered.
