Evelyn L. Ferguson

Evelyn Louise Ferguson, age 70, of D'Iberville, Mississippi, passed away on July 21, 2025, at Ochsner Medical Center in New Orleans.

A native and lifelong resident of D'Iberville, Evelyn was known for her kind and gentle soul. She was devoted to her family and her home, spending much of her time doing the things she loved most—cooking, baking, gardening, sewing, and sharing time with her family. 

Evelyn was preceded in death by her father, Johnnie Moore; her mother, Lucille Moore; and her sister, Patsy Moore.

She is survived by her loving husband of 50 years, Robert Ferguson; her children, Chris (Shawna) Ferguson, Jenny Ferguson, and Shelly Ferguson; and her siblings, Linda (Bob) Cash, George Moore, Bobbie (Larry) Bouchy, Mike (Jessica) Moore, and Alvin Moore.

Evelyn was a proud grandmother to Cole Ferguson, Cheyenne (Dylan) Webb, Chase Ferguson, Ashlyn Ferguson, and Skylyn Ferguson.

She will be remembered as a warm-hearted woman who lived a life of quiet dedication to her family and simple joys.

Funeral services will be on Saturday, July 26, 2025, at 11:00 a.m., with visitation starting at 10:00 a.m. at Pentecostals of the Gulf Coast, 1907 Popp's Ferry Rd, Biloxi, MS. Interment will follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, 4111 Bienville Blvd. Ocean Springs, MS.
