Evelyn was my secretary at Marinette County Health and Human Services for several years. She was very dependable and efficient! In addition, she was generous. Evelyn often shared her yummy baked goods. On several occasions, she gave me dish cloths she had crocheted and recently gave me the cutest pumpkin. Evelyn frequently had a treat for my son when he would visit the office. One night when my son was around 5 years old and was saying his prayers, my son added Evelyn to his prayer saying "God Bless Evelyn and her Snickers bars." Evelyn was a very special person & will be remembered/missed by all who knew her.

We worked in the same unit at Human Services together for the 17 years I worked there and enjoyed many happy memories. She was an adopted Mother to many of the social workers and other support staff she worked with. Will always remember the wonderful treats she would bake and bring to work to share. She was also very creative in her crochet projects she made and shared. She was a wonderful resource for those of us who were not originally from here and she could fill us in. I will really miss her and feel so badly that I wasn't able to see her more the last few years and will miss her service as I will be having a CT scan to check the progress of my chemo treatments at that same time.
