Evelyn K. Griesbach

Evelyn Katherine Griesbach, (November 16, 1933-July 9, 2025) has succumbed to advanced age and a brief battle with heart disease to reside eternally in the house of our Lord. She is preceded in death by her late husband, Orville; her sons: Duane and Loren; and her parents: Christopher and Rose Smith.
Evelyn was naturally musical and enjoyed playing the clarinet in her youth and continued to enjoy listening to country and polka music throughout her life. She also had a passion for gaming and enjoyed both bingo and going to the casino with friends and family. Evelyn and Orville owned and operated a home building construction business from the 60's through the 90's. In her later years, she cared for and lived with her sister (who has a developmental disability) and enjoyed spending time with her grandchildren and great grandchildren. Evelyn derived strength and comfort from a deep faith in our Lord Jesus Christ and enjoyed being a long time active member of the Sacred Heart Parish.
Evelyn truly lived a full life and will be sadly missed by her surviving younger sister, Charleen Smith; and child, Brianna (Linda Kemp) Griesbach; her daughter-in-law, Lauren Griesbach; and her grandchildren: Julie (Christopher Bobowitz) Griesbach, Jody (Hans) Huebner, Lisa (David) Breger, and Michele (Colton) Eggen; as well as many great grandchildren.
A Memorial Service for Evelyn will be held on Friday, July 18, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. at Valley Funeral Home, 2211 N. Richmond St., Appleton. Visitation will begin at the funeral home at 10:00 a.m. and will continue until the time of the service. For online condolences, please visit www.valleyfh.com.
