Ruth often told the story that when she was growing up her father referred to her as "Punk" & she knew she was safe if he called her that, but when he called her "Ruth" she knew he meant business "Punk" became her nickname with all of her closest family and friends referring to her by that name. Ruth was a phenomenal cook and was an avid lover of all things that were sweet, but her family loved when she made her famous "Swiss Steak" meals to celebrate birthdays! Ruth was very special to all that knew her and her family loved that they had the chance to love her for so many wonderful years.

Yesterday

Aunt Ruth was like a second Mother to me after my Father, her Brother In Law, died in 1958. She was a grand lady who believed the gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ. It is by God's grace alone I will see her again where we will celebrate life for all eternity. Prayers are with her beloved family. The True and Living God, Father, Son and Holy Spirit bless and comfort you! Amen.
