Evelyn May Brown Obituary
Evelyn was born in Anderson, IN to Vearl and Mable Hexamer.
On April 1, 1955, she married Harvey Lee Brown. They raised a daughter, Tamara (husband, Michael), and a son, Scott (wife, Karen).
They were married for 66 years.
Evelyn worked at Guide Division of GM in accounting and sales. She and Harvey retired and moved to Brown County, IN where they built a house themselves and spent many years there enjoying outdoor activities such as hiking in Yellowwood State Forest and Hoosier National Forest, planting trees, cutting wood, and horseback riding.
Everyone, even strangers, loved talking to her because of her interest, intelligence, sense of humor, kind heart, wit, and beautiful smile.
She will be deeply missed for her frequent laughter and her joy.
Visitation will take place Saturday, June 19, 2021, 9:30 A.M. to 11:30 A.M., followed by funeral services at 11:30 A.M. at Loose Funeral Homes & Crematory, 200 W 53rd St., Anderson, IN.
Burial will follow at Anderson Memorial Park.
