Evelyn Miranda

Evelyn Miranda, 73, of Pocono Summit, passed away peacefully in the home that she loved on Tuesday, March 25, 2025. Born in New York, New York, she was the daughter of the late Policarpio Gomez and Luisa Cuesta. Evelyn was the beloved wife of James Miranda; the absolute love of his life. She was an excellent, hard working, devoted wife and mother who loved the Lord. She prayed for her family each and every day and called on the name of JESUS to help her as she battled her health issues. She loved children and worked in child care for many years. Evelyn enjoyed reading and listening to music. She was Michael Jackson's number 1 fan. There was nothing more important to her than her family. Her love was a huge blessing and a tremendous gift. She will be sorely missed but there is no doubt that she will be reunited with her loved ones in Heaven where she now resides.
Survivors: In addition to her husband, James, Evelyn will be lovingly remembered by her son, Ruben Nunez and his wife GloryBee; daughter, Michele Wells and her husband David; sister, Linda Ojeda and her husband Frank; grandchildren, Destini Nunez, Tyson Charles and Victoria Wells; great grandchildren, Savannah and Raymond; nieces, Samantha and Keilyn and her nephew, Frankie.
