Evelyn Karnes Obenchain, 93, of Roanoke, passed away on Saturday, April 26, 2025. Evelyn opened and operated Obenchain's Greenhouse and Evelyn's Greenhouse for nearly 50 years.
The family will have a chapel service on Friday, May 2, 2025, at 1 p.m. at Simpson Funeral Home, 5160 Peters Creek Rd. Roanoke, VA, 24019. A visitation will be held one hour prior, 12 to 1 p.m.

What a wonderful person my mother and Evelyn went to church together and have bought many flowers from her over the years. She will be missed.
