Evelyn Susan Palencia, age 71, of Lytle, Texas, passed away on December 22, 2024, in Lytle. Evelyn was born in San Antonio, Texas on February 3, 1953, to Amparo and Juan Antonio Mireles.
Evelyn is preceded in death by her parents: Juan Antonio and Amparo Mireles; brother: John Mireles; and sisters: Katherine Dominguez, and Jeanette Renteria.
Evelyn is survived by her sons: Robert Palencia, II (Nicole), and Andrew Palencia; daughters: Jennifer Santos (Annie), and Victoria Gonzalez (Adam); sister: Elaine Mireles; brother: George Mireles (Yolanda); and numerous grandchildren, nieces, and nephews
A visitation will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Hondo Funeral Home from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m., followed by recitation of the Rosary at 12:30 p.m. Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, January 2, 2025, at Holy Cross Catholic Church at 2:00 p.m. Services will conclude after Mass.
Services are under the Direction of Hondo Funeral Home.
