Evelyn Reustle Obituary
She was born July 14, 1921 in Alliance, Ohio, to Cregg T. and Florence E. (Benner) Conrad.
Evelyn had been a Line Supervisor for Ultimate Electronics in Summers point New Jersey, Manager of Carl Sands Restaurant, and owned and leased out a guest house and rooms.
She later worked at Computer Peripherals in Valley Forge, Pennsylvania where she met Ed; and later, together they were shareholders in Update Mfg. Machine Shop in N.J.
Evelyn also worked at the former Alliance Women's Club, and Connoisseur in Ocean City, Maryland.
She enjoyed traveling.
She was a member of Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church in Homeworth for more than 75 years.
Survivors include her son, Gregory L. Pierce; and sister, Viola P. Blanchard.
In addition to her parents, Evelyn was preceded in death by her husband, Edward Albert Reustle, whom she married March 3, 1973, and who died in 2002; sisters; Violet Conrad, Mable Mobley, Gladys Goughnour, and Mary Penny; and brothers, Arnold, Dwain E., Lester H., Olin H., Dale E. and Clayton L. Conrad.
Services will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, January 16, 2023 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Lee Iden officiating.
Family and friends may call from 4-6 p.m. Sunday, January 15th at the funeral home.
Interment will be at Salem Greenlawn Cemetery.
