Evelyn F. Ritz, 96, of Green Bay, passed away on Tuesday, February 4, 2025 surrounded by family. She was born on March 14, 1928 to the late John and Tilly (Swantek) Dombroski. After high school, Evelyn married the love of her life, William Ritz, on May 20, 1950 at St. Mary of the Angels Catholic Church. Together they enjoyed taking trips to the casino, attending Mass often, and through the church they were able to take a very special trip to Medjugorje, Yugoslavia. Evelyn loved spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren. In her free time, she would crochet things like afghans and items for the grandchildren.
Evelyn is survived by her son, Mark (Sandy) Ritz; her three grandchildren, Jenny (Jim) Blackmore, Brenda (Andrew) Schiessl, and Renee (Doug) Sina; seven great-grandchildren; and many special nieces and nephews.
She is preceded in death by her beloved husband, William; her parents; her sisters, Dolores Morgan, Ceil Walker, and Val Skorzewski; her brothers, Robert, Henry, and Victor Dombroski.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Tuesday, February 11, 2025 at St. Peter & Paul Catholic Church located 710 N Baird St. Green Bay, WI 54302. Visitation will take place from 10:00 AM to time of Mass at 11:00 AM with a lunch to follow.
