Joseph "Big Joe" Swiecichowski, 65, of Green Bay, has gone to God September 25, 2025, to be with his wife Kristi (Streubel) Swiecichowski on her birthday. Joe was born to the late Dennis Sr. and Catherine (Jones) Swiecichowski. Joe was the eighth child of nine children. He married the love of his life Kristi Streubel on September 22, 1987, at Calvary Lutheran Church. He was an avid Packer fan and loved his birds, Elvis, Priscilla, Suzie, Johnny. Joe and his wife Kristi were also well-known for their talents and joy of knitting hats to be donated to those in need. Joe made many friends while working at the UWGB Cantina for many years. Joe and Kristi were very well known on the Green Bay City Bus Routes sharing all kinds of wonderful and crazy stories of their everyday life.
He is survived by brothers, Dennis Jr. (Carlene), Mark, John (Jane) Swiecichowski, and sisters, Judi (Jim) Camp, Marcia (Larry) Lemmens, and Linda (Jeff) Jacobs; Goddaughter Mandy (Curtis) Nowlski; brother in law, Dale (Mary Jane) Dederich Sr.; many nieces and nephews.
Preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Bobbi (Terry) Schneider and Patricia Dederich.
Visitation at Nicolet Memorial Gardens, 2770 Bay Settlement Rd. Wednesday, October 1, from 9 AM until the time of the memorial service at 10:30 AM.
The family would like to extend a special thank you to the wonderful caring professionals at Century Ridge Assisted Living, Moments Hospice, and Lakeland Care.
In lieu of flowers feel free to make a donation to the Curative Workshop or the Bay Area Humane Society.
