John P. Gleason, age 85, of Green Bay passed away Thursday, September 18, 2025.

John was born August 18, 1940 in Duck Creek, son of the late Thomas and Mabel (Gegare) Gleason. He was a graduate of De Pere High School and St. Norbert College.

John volunteered to help with Bingo at Nativity of Our Lord Parish and help park cars for Packer games. He was a member of the Lions Club and enjoyed bicycling. John was a member of the Bayshore Bicycle Club.

Survivors include his wife: Martha Gleason; one sister: Eileen Guerts; one brother: Patrick (Lynn) Gleason; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends. He was preceded in death by his parents Thomas & Mabel Gleason, his in-laws Francis & Elizabeth Wankowski, four brothers and two sisters: Jerry, Tom, Donald and Michael Gleason, Donna Mae (Jack) Labine and Rose Mary (Ron) Lambrecht.

The family will greet relatives and friends at Nativity of Our Lord Parish on Tuesday, September 30, 2025 from 10:00 a.m. until 11:00 a.m

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, September 30, 2025 at Nativity of Our Lord Parish. Officiating at the Mass of Christian Burial will be the Rev. Matt Simonar with entombment to take place at Allouez Catholic Mausoleum following services.
