Evelyn Stevens Obituary
extended illness on January 22nd 2023. She was 95 years old and 8 days away from her 96th birthday.
Evelyn was born in Detroit Michigan on January 30th 1927. She is survived by many loving family
members including her own children, grand kids, and great grand kids. Evelyn had 6 children of her own.
Oldest to youngest being Charles Stevens of Rossville Illinois. Daniel Stevens of Millersburg Kentucky.
Thomas Stevens of Lexington Kentucky. Lawrence Stevens of Arvada Colorado. Susan Stevens of Carlisle
Kentucky. Robert Stevens of Jackson Michigan. 11 Grandchildren and 19 Great Grandchildren. She was
also never above taking in a stray friend we may have dragged home as kids. That seemed to happen
every so often. She lived for her kids and was the best Mom one could possibly have. She was fun-loving
and had a great sense of humor. I know everyone who knew her has a story to tell and will keep their
stories in their hearts forever.
A celebration of Evelyn's life will be held in May during Memorial Day weekend, the place and time will be forth coming.
