Evelyn Faye Williams, age 65, a resident of D’Iberville, MS, passed away, on July 1, 2024, surrounded and comforted by family at her home.

She was born in Hollandale, MS on December 3, 1958, the daughter of Spencer and Elsie Mae Wheatley. Evelyn attended Simmons High School and received her High School Diploma, attended Jackson State University, then at MS Gulf Coast Community College received her Associate of the Arts in Childhood Education Degree, and also received an Associate of the Arts from the Community College of the Air Force. Evelyn was married to Ronnie Lee Williams on May 18, 1975.

Evelyn spent her working career serving her country in The United States Air Force, working as an Admin/Personnel Specialist for 15 years. She also worked for 18 years for the Veterans Affairs as a Secretary/Program Assistant. She enjoyed cooking, spending time with family, traveling, and the beauty of flowers.

Evelyn (Faye) was survived by her husband Ronnie Lee Williams, her 3 sisters Olean Bryant, Ollie Mae Wheatley, & Vickie Wheatley, her 2 children Robin Willis, & Jaleesa Edwards, & her 6 grandchildren India Willis, Landon Young, Wynter Willis, Sharkiesha Jackson, Kennedy Willis, and King Avant; and a host of other relatives and friends. 

Funeral services for Evelyn Faye Williams will be held Tuesday, July 9, 2024, at 10:30 am at Infinity Funeral Home in Biloxi MS. Visitation will be held at 9:30 am.
