Evelyn Wilson, daughter of the late Earnest and Cora (Driskell) Sparks, was born September 15, 1947, in Dora, Missouri, and passed away at her home on November 1, 2025. She was 78 years, 1 month, and 17 days of age.
Evelyn married Chris Wilson on May 28, 1966. One child, Daniel, was born to this union.
Evelyn worked for Brown Shoe Company for several years and later started her own cleaning business which she ran for over 30 years. In her spare time, she enjoyed gardening and canning what she harvested, baking and cooking many wonderful things for her family and friends, and feeding the hummingbirds that visited the yard. The delight of her life was spending time with her grandson, Ben.
Evelyn was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Chris, her sister and brother-in-law, Pauline and Larry VanPelt, her brother, George Sparks, and a sister-in-law, Phyllis Sparks.
She is survived by her son, Daniel Wilson and his wife, Laurel, her grandson, Ben Wilson, three brothers, Sam Sparks and his wife, Eunice, Don Sparks and his wife, Nyla, and Dwayne Sparks, and by a sister-in-law, Debbie Sparks, and many other family, neighbors and friends.
