Evelyne Curlee Kepley, 85, of Norwood, passed away Thursday, August 11, 2022 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
Evelyne was born October 16, 1936 in North Carolina to the late Charlie Black Curlee and the late Daisy Belle Curlee.
She was also preceded in death by husband, Kenneth Ray Kepley; brother, Lee Vond Curlee; and sister, Jeanette Deese.
The family will receive friends from 1:00 pm - 1:45 pm, Monday, August 15, 2022 at Silver Springs Baptist Church in Norwood. The funeral service will follow on Monday, August 15, 2022 at 2:00 pm at Silver Springs Baptist Church in Norwood officiated by Rev. Mark Little. Burial will immediately follow at the Silver Springs Baptist Church Cemetery at 16072 NC 138 Hwy, Norwood.
Survivors include son, Michael (Janey) Kepley of Albemarle, NC; daughter, Sonia S. Lamb; grandchildren, Amber Kepley, Matt Kepley, William Kepley, Wesley Setser, Hailey Setser, Logan Lamb, and Brennan Lamb; great-grandchildren, Nollie Kepley and Oak Kepley; and many nieces and nephews.
Evelyne loved working in her flower garden and also truly loved her work bookkeeping for Wiscassett Mills, Fruit of the Loom, and Stanly Memorial Hospital. She enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren, going out to eat with her family, and was a Carolina Panther's fan. Evelyne enjoyed her time at Trinity Place where she made many friends.
Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly or Trinity Place.
