Everett Leroy Hazard Jr., born July 7, 1961, passed away peacefully on December 22, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in North Kingstown, Rhode Island.
Born in South Kingstown, Rhode Island, Everett moved to California with his family at the age of 17. He spent most of his formative years there, where he built a life, raised his family, and formed lifelong friendships.
Everett was known for his loving nature, kindness, quick wit, infectious sense of humor, and bright smile. He had a rare gift for making everyone feel welcomed, valued, and deeply loved.
Everett is survived by his loving mother, Beverly (Walmsley) Hazard; his sister, Shawn E. Hazard; his brother, Eric Hazard; and his cherished children: Marcel Hazard, Dominique Hazard, Danielle Hazard, Everett "LeFle" Hazard, Jasmine Hazard, Yvette Hazard, and Tydra Hazard. He also leaves behind 22 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and beloved nephews Rodney (Bookie), Marcus, and Storm.
Everett was preceded in death by his father, Everett L. Hazard Sr., and his son, Michael J. Hazard.
Everett's legacy lives on through the many lives he touched with his warmth, laughter, and unwavering love. He will be forever missed and always remembered.
Visiting hours will be held on Saturday, January 3rd from 11-12:30 pm with a funeral service to follow at 12:30 in Avery-Storti Funeral Home, 88 Columbia St., Wakefield, RI 02879. Burial will be private.
