Cigar was born July 6, 1958 at Louisa, Kentucky the son of the late Everett and Martha Edwards Lyons. He was a heavy equipment operator.
Survivors include his children Michelle "Toot Rooster" Dillon and husband Harlan "Cruz", Jessica "Plucky" Dillon and husband Dwight "Jeb", Everett "Rube" Lyons III and wife Shelly "Birdie", Robin "Judy Ann" Patrick, Rachel "Shatchel"Compton and husband Joshua, the mother of his children Cindi "Sobby" Wade, his grandchildren Victoria "Beanie Dean" Dillon, Matt Dillon, Collin Patrick, Logan Dillon, Blake "Mister" Lyons, Anna Compton, Brennen "Shemrock" Lyons, Nara "Blue Eyes" Compton, Aiden "Tally" Brewer, Remi "Peanut" Jude, his companion of 15 years Billie "Miss Bean" Spaulding. Special little cousins who called him Papaw Amanda (Sister)Charles, James Ray (Sworping Stick) Charles.
Funeral services will be held on Tuesday October 7th at 1:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home with Rev. Brian Fannin and Rev. Joe Castle officiating. Burial will follow in the Lyons Cemetery on the Right Fork of Georges Creek Louisa, Kentucky.
Friends may visit the family on Monday October 6th from 6:00 pm to 9:00 pm at the Wilson Funeral Home.
Care for Cigar and his family has been entrusted to our family at Wilson Funeral Home.
