Evert L. Smith

Evert L. Smith was born October 17, 1938 in Stinnett, Kentucky. He was the son of the late Pearl Smith and Leoma Morgan Smith. He was married to the love of his life for over 55 years to Annette Morgan Smith who preceded him in death. He is survived by his two children, Randy Smith and wife Leslie of East Bernstadt and Michael Smith and wife Becky of Somerset; five siblings, Faye Napier of Lake City, Florida, Norma Shirley Simpson of Helton, Kentucky, Jacqueline Gilbert of Stinnett, Kentucky, Idella Hubbard and Glyn of Williamsburg, Kentucky, and Ernest Smith and his wife Ann of London, Kentucky; five grandchildren, Kelly Pisauro and husband Joe of Columbus, Ohio, Daniel Smith and wife Sarah Elizabeth of Nashville, Tennessee, Ryan Smith and (Porchia) of Somerset, Kentucky, Sarah Smith and (Jeremy) of Lebanon, Ohio, Elizabeth Smith of Somerset, Kentucky; one great-grandchild, Rowan Pisauro; plus a host of other family and friends to mourn his passing.
In addition to his parents and wife he is also preceded in death by his five siblings, Hobert Smith, Clarence Smith, Dalton Smith, Orie Smith, and Thomas Smith.
He was a veteran of the United States Air Force, a heavy equipment operator, and of the Christian Faith.
Evert L. Smith departed this life Saturday, December 17, 2022 being 84 years and 2 months of age.
Visitation for Evert L. Smith has been changed to Monday from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm at Bowling Funeral Home.
