Evert Uldrich Obituary
April 16, 1939 - February 18, 2026
Evert Dale Uldrich, of Hot Springs Village, Arkansas passed away at the age of 86. Evert graduated from Fairberry High School in 1957. He was a part of the National Honour Society and was an Eagle Scout. He received a Bachelor of Engineering from the University of Kansas. He was a Second Lieutenant in the United States Army where he met and married Gloria Cusick. After leaving the army, he worked in several places while earning his masters and doctorate degrees, finally establishing a residence in Idaho Falls, Idaho. He worked at the Idaho National Lab, was an avid skier, officiating ski races for 25 years. Evert owned horses and cows, was a member of Backcountry Horseman, was an avid hunter, enjoyed snowmobiling, piloting his Cessna airplane, and owning and operating Evert's Custom Haying. He was a member of Holy Rosary Catholic Church, where he was a fourth degree Knights of Columbus. Evert moved to Hot Springs Village in June of 2024 to be closer to family and transferred his membership to Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church and enjoyed several outings with the singles group.
Evert was preceded in death by his ex-wife, Gloria Uldrich. He is survived by his brother and sister-in-law Wendell and Kathy Uldrich of Frisco, TX; children: Nancy Williams (David) of State College PA, Sharon Uldrich of Cleveland TX, and Gregory Uldrich (Betsy) of Hot Springs Village AR; grandchildren: Dalton Williams (Alyvia), Caitlin West (Kris); Connor Williams; Arley Ewoldsen (Michael); Ellianna, Abigail, Tabitha, and Hannah Uldrich; and great-grandchildren: Moira Ewoldsen, Aubrey West, Aiden Williams, and Corbin West.
Family and friends are invited to attend a 10:30 AM Rosary and an 11:00 AM Mass of Resurrection on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 at Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church, 295 Balearic Road, Hot Springs Village AR, which will be livestreamed on their website; Father George Sanders officiating. Interment will be immediately following at Calvary Cemetery for Saint Mary of the Springs Catholic Church, at the corner of Greenwood and 3rd Street in Hot Springs AR.
Memorial contributions may be given to the Holy Rosary School Endowment Foundation, Idaho Falls ID or your local Public Television Station.
