With great pain, we announce the passing of Fabian Barrera Jr. He left this earth on the 16th of June, 2025. Fabian lived 40 years and left us with countless memories. A perfectly imperfect soul who taught us the meaning of unconditional love, patience and how to love ourselves just as we are.
Fabian will be remembered as a proud brother and son, who loved his siblings and spending time with his loved ones. Fabian loved swimming and singing Karaoke after spending an afternoon over the BBQ to feed everyone. The sounds of his infectious laugh brought by his beloved (crazy) sense of humor will echo in our hearts.
Fabian will be truly missed. Fabian may have been called back home, but his memory will live on in our hearts forever. Fabian is survived by his mother, Elizabeth Barrera, late father, Fabian Barrera, daughter, Alexis J Barrera, sister, Rachel Sanchez-Figueroa(Rigoberto) brothers, Carlos Barrera and Edwin Barrera(Yasmin) and many nieces and nephews.
Funeral Arrangements entrusted to Sadowski Funeral Home of Hegewisch: 13300 S. Houston Ave., Chicago, IL 60633. As we prepare to say Goodbye to Fabian Barrera Jr., please join the family for a memorial visitation that celebrates the spirit of Fabian's life on June 26, 2025 from 3:00 pm until 8:00 pm.
