Fannie Marucci Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Collins Funeral Home - Norwalk on Nov. 26, 2025.

Fannie (Testa) Marucci was born on February 21, 1928, and passed away peacefully on November 26, 2025. She was predeceased by her husband of 54 years, Michael, in November 2001. She is also predeceased by her parents, Rosaria and Pasquale Testa, and by her siblings, Sam Testa, Theresa Imperato, Elsie Rossi, Mary Krause, and Michael Testa.

Fannie loved bingo and the casino as well as being a devout fan of the New York Yankees and Miami Dolphins. She was an active lifetime member of the St. Ann's Women's Auxiliary Club where she played Bocce ball, cooked, and claimed accolades for her famous salad serving and attending numerous dinners and events. As a lifetime Norwalk resident, she worked at Character Novelty Toy Company and Trudy Toys, and later in her life at the bakery at Pathmark in Norwalk. Over the decades of her employment, she never missed an opportunity to spend time with her family and friends, whether it was babysitting the grandchildren and great-grandchildren, or just popping in for a quick cup of coffee and great conversation. She always shared a laugh with comical stories and was always up for a party. She provided support and undying love to all she came into contact with, and was loved equally as much in return.

Her funny stories and antics always made us laugh, and her smile warmed our hearts. Her spirited and loving personality will remain with us every day as we recall the many memories we had with her.

She is survived by her two children JoAnne (Tony) Guaglione and Michael (Pam) Marucci Jr., her grandchildren, John (Diana) Guaglione, Alison (Adam) Rossi, Bryan Marucci, her loving great-grandchildren Jake, Sara, and Olivia Guaglione, and Alyssa Rossi, as well as many nieces and nephews.

Family and Friends may come to call at Collins Funeral Home at 92 East Avenue in Norwalk, CT, between the hours of 4:00 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. on Tuesday, December 2, 2025. At 7:00 p.m. that evening, the St. Ann's Women's Auxiliary will give a farewell memorial at the funeral home.

There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Wednesday, December 3, at 12 pm, at St. Phillip Church, located at 1 Father Conlon Place in Norwalk, followed by interment at St. John Cemetery on Richards Avenue.

The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made to the Notre Dame Rehabilitation Center. Checks may be made out to SSTV Capital Improvements.
