Jacqueline Marucci Obituary

Obituary published on Legacy.com by Magner Funeral Home, Inc. - Norwalk on Feb. 25, 2026.
Jacqueline "Jackie" Marucci (Emond) passed away peacefully on February 23, 2026, after a courageous battle with lung cancer, surrounded by the love of her family.

Above all else, Jackie was devoted to the people she loved. She was a caring woman whose greatest joy came from time spent with family especially her granddaughter. Whether hosting gatherings, sharing stories around the table, or simply offering a listening ear, Jackie had a gift for making everyone feel welcome, valued, and at home.

Her greatest joy was her granddaughter, Alyssa, whom she loved with every ounce of her soul. She treasured every moment spent together and took every opportunity to be present in her life, creating memories that will be held close forever.

Throughout her life, Jackie formed many cherished relationships. From her early years at Marriott, where she enjoyed traveling and creating memories with her family, to Kodak Polychrome Graphics, where she met dear friends who remained close to her heart, Jackie carried those connections with her always. At Pirro & Church, she found not only meaningful work but also a special friendship with her late friend and former employer, Larry Church. She remained dedicated to her work there until her diagnosis in May 2024.

Jackie leaves behind a life woven with love and laughter. She is survived by her daughter Alison (Adam) Rossi; her son Bryan Marucci who took care of her until the very end; her beloved granddaughter Alyssa Rose Rossi; her mother Patricia Emond; her brother Raymond Emond, Jr.; her niece and nephews; and many cousins.

She was predeceased by her father, Raymond Emond Sr, last July.

Her love will continue to live on in all who were fortunate enough to call her family or friend.

Her Mass of Christian Burial will be held at 10AM on Wednesday, March 4, at St. Matthew Church, 216 Scribner Avenue, Norwalk. Other services will be held privately.
