With heavy hearts, we announce the passing of our beloved Fanny Lee Leonard, who left this world on her 76th birthday, November 9, 2025. Born in Morgan City, Louisiana, on November 9, 1949, Fanny spent her life weaving her love for family and passion for crafts into the fabric of everyday life. Fanny was a talented quilter, known for her warm and inviting creations. Her dedication to sewing extended beyond mere fabric; each stitch was a piece of love she shared with family and friends. Cooking and celebrating holidays filled her home with laughter and joy, creating cherished memories that will live on in the hearts of those she leaves behind. Fanny's spirit shone brightly through her love of music and dance. Whether it was twirling around the living room or camping under the stars, she engaged fully in every moment, bringing light and laughter wherever she went. Family was the center of her universe, and she poured her heart into nurturing those relationships.

Leonard; four godchildren, Crystal Aucoin, Howie Gaudet, Susie Gaudet, and Avery “T-Butch” Leonard; her beloved fur-baby, Butch.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Norman Leonard and Lillian Hebert Leonard; siblings, Dalbes Hebert, Ury Aucoin, Avery “Butch” Leonard, Leonard Aucoin, and Annabelle Falgout; three nieces, Nanny Molly, Angela Seymore, and Jodie Leonard.
