Mr. Ward is survived by his children, Joe Ann Ward of Commerce, Alan Ward of Calhoun, and Sandra Smith of Carnesville; sister, Marsha Ward Dukes of Laurens, SC; six grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.

Little-Ward Funeral Home, Commerce is in charge of arrangements.
