Faustino "Tony" Felipe Lopez, 76, of Jacksonville, Florida, passed away on October 29, 2025.
Born on March 4, 1949, in San Miguel, Hagonoy, Bulacan, Philippines, Tony was the beloved son of José and Florencia Lopez and one of eleven siblings. From his early years, he carried a deep sense of humility, kindness, and strength, values that shaped the way he lived and loved.
On November 24, 1975, he married Teresita Balatbat Lopez, beginning a beautiful lifelong partnership. He was a proud and loving father to Analyrio Lopez Moad (married to Samuel Moad) and Agnes Lopez Noisette (married to Damon Noisette), and an adoring grandfather to Avery and Lillie Moad, who brought endless joy and smiles to his days.
Tony built a long and respected career as an Electrical Technician, most recently at St. Vincent Hospital before retiring. His quiet diligence, problem-solving mind, and friendly nature earned him the respect of everyone he worked with.
Having made Jacksonville his home for more than fifty years, Tony was happiest spending time with family, working on projects around the house, or treating himself to something sweet. A thoughtful listener and gentle soul, he found contentment in simply being present with the people he loved.
Even after being diagnosed with liver cancer in April, Tony faced each day with courage and grace, always thinking of others before himself.
He will be remembered for his humor, endless patience, and humble heart. Tony was a man who found joy in life's simple moments and whose love will continue to guide and inspire all who knew him.
Family and friends are invited to a viewing on Wednesday, November 5, from 5:00 to 7:00 p.m. at Jacksonville Memory Gardens. A Funeral Mass will be held on Thursday, November 6, at 10:00 a.m. at St. Paul Catholic Church in Riverside, followed by a reception.
