Ashlie Nicole Lopez, age 37, of
Bakersfield, California, passed away unexpectedly on November 1, 2025. She was born on April 12, 1988, to Mark & Anna Meyer.
Ashlie was a devoted wife, mother, daughter, sister, and friend whose warmth and joy touched everyone who had the privilege of knowing her. She is survived by her loving husband, Blake Lopez, and their cherished children, Rylie, Matteo, and Reagan. She also leaves behind her parents, Mark and Anna Meyer; her sister, Stephanie & Santiago Baltazar; her brother, Wesley & Crystal Meyer; her grandmothers, Dessa Meyer and Jolene Hoff; her in-laws, Andy & Shelia Lopez; her sister-in-law, Emily & Spencer Lozano; and her grandparents-in-law John & Noreen Withers and Martha Lopez, along with many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and dear friends who will miss her deeply.
A proud graduate of Highland High School, Bakersfield College, and Fresno Pacific University, Ashlie earned her bachelor's degree and dedicated 18 years of her career to education. She later returned to Bakersfield College and the Kern Community College District as a valued and compassionate member of the staff. Where she was known for her dedication, kindness, and the positivity she brought to every interaction.
Ashlie's greatest joy in life was her family. She loved attending her children's activities, RVing with the family, baking, and trying new recipes to share with those she loved most. Known for her bold personality, contagious laughter, and generous heart, she brought color and joy to every part of life - especially her favorite color, teal.
Ashlie's funeral service will be November 14, 2025 at 11:00 am at Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church,12300 Reina Rd,
Bakersfield, California. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in her memory to MS Society, Children's Hospital LA, or gift cards to support her family.
Ashlie's light will continue to shine through the love she gave, the lives she touched, and every beautiful shade of teal that reminds us of her.
