Faustino "Tino" Miranda passed away peacefully, surrounded by his loved ones, on October 28, 2025, in Aurora, Colorado. He was born on August 12, 1966, in Greeley, Colorado, to Emilio Miranda and Manuela Pesina.
Tino grew up in Ohio, where he attended Elmwood High School and excelled as a phenomenal athlete in both baseball and wrestling. At the age of 18, he moved to Colorado, where he fell in love with the mountains-and never looked back.
Tino was a man of great integrity, faith, and love. He found true joy in helping others, and the gratitude he received from those he helped meant more to him than any amount of money or fame. Known for his incredible cooking, his passion for fishing, and his deep love for family-especially his grandchildren-Tino's presence brought warmth and laughter to every gathering.
Above all, the cornerstone of his life was his unwavering faith and dedication to serving the Lord and Savior. His devotion to his church and his community reflected his kind heart and steadfast spirit.
Tino is survived by his loving wife, Kristi Castle; his children, Monica Miranda, Alicia O'Connell (Alberto), Valentino Miranda, Devan Miranda, Michael Burnsion (Kayce), Andrea Tilley, Deanna Gordon, and Deanares Gordon; 12 grandchildren; his mother, Manuela Pesina; and siblings, Emilio Miranda Jr. (Veronica), Linda Miranda, and Christie Archuleta (Sam). He is also survived by a large extended family and countless friends who will miss him dearly.
He was preceded in death by his father, Emilio Miranda Sr., and his grandparents.
Memorial contributions in Tino's name may be made to House of Hope and Refuge Church, in care of Lighthouse Family Mortuary, 3600 W. 22nd St., Greeley, CO 80634. To share condolences with Tino's family, please visit www.lfmlighthouse.com.

My sincere condolences to the family. I was very saddened to hear Tino passed away, but grateful to know he was surrounded by his beautiful loving family. Even though we lost touch over the years friend I will always remember your kindness, your great sense of humor, your unselfish contributions to your family and community! You were definitely " one of kind" and the world is a sadder place today without you in it. Love you always my friend until we meet again, ~ Christine (Santos) Brakefield
