Fay R. Boyer

Fay R. Boyer 94, of Carlisle passed peacefully at her home on Friday, February 20, 2026.

Born December 25, 1931, in Carlisle, she was the daughter of the late Floyd and Martha Wagner.

She spent her married life as a homemaker, mother, and business manager of the family farm.

She was a member of the Carlisle First Church of God.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Emerson D. Boyer on July 21, 2014.

Surviving is one son, Emerson D. Boyer Jr. (Georgianna), two daughters, Pamela Snoots (Billy) and Tammy Boyer; three grandsons; Brian Boyer (Megan), Benjamin Boyer (Katie) and Christopher Keller (Larissa) along with 7 great grandchildren; Blake, Riley and Harper Boyer; Bailee and Sutton Boyer; Mason and Marlee Keller.

Fay will also be fondly remembered by her Christian Companion Caregivers who provided 24 hour care the past 4 years following dementia diagnosis.

She was treated with compassion and as a true family member along with being spoiled. Without these ladies, the family could not have complied with "mom's wishes" of staying home on the farm.

The family is also grateful to Hospice who stepped in during Mom's last week providing support to the caregivers.

Funeral Services will be held at noon, Thursday March 5th, 2026, at Hoffman Funeral Home & Crematory, 2020 West Trindle Road, Carlisle with Pastor Michael R. Poe officiating. A visitation will be held from 11 a.m. until the time of the service on Thursday at the funeral home. Burial will be in North Middleton Church of God Cemetery.
