Fay Marlene Campbell, 71, of Fayetteville, PA, passed away peacefully on Monday, January 5, 2026, at Chambersburg Hospital. Born on October 12, 1954, in Waynesboro, PA, she was the beloved daughter of the late Daniel Webster Armstrong and Mary Ellen Reese Armstrong.
For many years, Fay dedicated her life to serving others as an in-home private duty aide, where her compassion, kindness, and selfless care touched the lives of countless families. She was a devoted member of Agape Christian Fellowship Church in Fayetteville, where her faith and fellowship were central to her life.
Fay found joy in the simple pleasures—preparing home-cooked meals, spending time with friends, playing card games, crafting, and, most of all, cherishing time with her family and church family. Her warm spirit, generous heart, and unwavering love for those around her will be deeply missed.
Surviving are her three children, Lisa Barnhart of Greencastle, PA, Nathan Campbell of Fayetteville, PA, and Andrew Campbell of Fayetteville, PA; her cherished grandson, Hunter Barnhart-Working of Fayetteville, PA; and her siblings, Cheryl, Debbie, Pamela, Vicky, and Charles. In addition to her parents, Fay was preceded in death by three siblings, Delores, Roger, and Delmas.
A memorial service will be held on Monday, January 12, 2026, at 6 PM in the Chapel of Thomas L. Geisel Funeral Home, Inc., 333 Falling Spring Rd., Chambersburg, PA, where Pastors Rod Thomas and Mike Rodriguez will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service in the funeral home above. Online condolences may be offered on her page at www.geiselfuneralhome.com.
