Obituary of Fay Willodene McFaul
Fay Willodene Davis was born in Alabama on August 18, 1927. She was the third of four daughters born to Ernest and Ethel (Chandler) Davis.
On July 14, 1947, she wed the love of her life, William McFaul, in Angola, Indiana. The couple enjoyed sixty-one years of marriage and were blessed with a son and a daughter. They traveled across the continent together, from Mexico, to many states across the U.S. including Hawaii.
In addition to caring for her family, Fay owned and operated the First Lady Beauty Salon for more than twenty years. An avid fan of the Detroit Tigers baseball team, she attended several home games at both Briggs Stadium and Comerica Park. Fay enjoyed trying her luck on the slots at the casino as well as challenging herself to crossword puzzles.
