Lottie Fay’s Funeral service, age 89 of Campbell, Texas will be held at 11:00 A.M. on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home with Buddy Wiggins officiating and Randell Book, Ken Kitchen, Jeff Graves, Steven Kitchen, Ron Pollok and Jimmy Regan serving as pallbearers with Kenny Kitchen serving as an honorary pallbearer. Interment will follow at Brigham Cemetery in Brigham, TX. Visitation will be held from 6:00 to 8:00 P.M. on Tuesday, March 28, 2023, at Murray-Orwosky Funeral Home. Mrs. Pridmore passed away on March 19, 2023, at Hunt Regional Medical Center.
Fay was born on April 5, 1933, to Riley Lewis Book and Lottie Brydell (Parton) Book just outside Pigeott, Arkansas. She entered her eternal rest on March 29,2023. Fay married Dean Kitchen and had one son, Ken Kitchen. September 16, 1955 she married A.B. Pridmore and they had two children, Debra and Jeff "Dennie". They lived in several states, Michigan, Tennessee, Arkansas and settled in Campbell, TX. She went to work at Lance Factory in Greenville, TX, where she retired. Fay was raised of the Baptist Faith. Growing up, Fay worked on the family farm milking cows and working in the fields. Fay played baseball in one of the first ladies baseball leagues. Fay and A.B loved to go to trade day, flea markets and work on their little farm where they enjoyed raising animals. When Fay’s health declined, she went to live at Legions Nursing Home in Greenville, TX. She was well taken care of, and she loved playing bingo.
She is survived by son, Ken Kitchen and wife, Deniz; daughter, Debra Albritton; five grandchildren, Kenny, Steven, Ian, Jodie and Elan; 10 great grandchildren; brother, Henry Doilous Book and numerous nieces and nephews.
Fay was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years A.B. Pridmore in 2006; son, Jeff Pridmore; brothers, John, J.B., and Ray Book; sisters, Edith Simpson, Ethel Hampton, Vergie Binkly, Margie Jones and Louise Harmon.
