1936 - 2025

Watertown, WI - Faye H. Dolan, 89, of Watertown, passed away Tuesday, September 16, 2025.

A gathering of family and friends will be held on Saturday, September 27, 2025 at Hafemeister Funeral Home from 1 p.m. until 3 p.m., with a time of sharing at 2:45 p.m. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rainbow Hospice or to American Legion Post #189 to be used towards establishing the Vietnam Veterans Memorial Wall. Faye Hazel Dolan, born in Milford on August 6, 1936, was the daughter of the late Ben and Clara (nee Stienel) Hein. She graduated from Lake Mills High School. Many will fondly remember Faye from her time as a waitress and baker. She was a valued member of the staff at Pine Knoll Supper Club, the Feed Bag, Hartungs, and the Upper Krust until she retired from the work she knew so well.

Faye's hands were rarely still, creating beauty and joy for her family. Many of you may have one of her cross-stitched Christmas pictures or had the pleasure of enjoying her special Christmas cookies. We all loved her baking, especially her angel food cakes and pies. She was a huge fan of the Brewers, Bucks and Packers. In her younger days, she was a talented badminton player in high school and later enjoyed competitive games of Jarts with family, but her greatest happiness was found in time spent with her family.

Faye is survived by her children, Sharon (Jim) Zaffrann of Watertown; Sheryl (Gary) Beitch of San Ramon, CA; special companion, Richard "Dick" Baker; grandchildren, Tera (Jay) Denning, Dustin (Mandy) Checkai, Jessica Beitch, Marci (Dan) Schieffelin, Aaron (Sarah) Beitch, Holly (Jeff) Laird; three great grandchildren, Hudson, Sawyer and Kieren, sisters, Pearl Christensen, Donna (Dick) Powell; as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.

Faye is preceded in death by her parents; her brothers: James Hein, Carroll "Kelly" Hein, Don Hein, Marvin Hein, and Phil Hein; her sisters: Elaine Hein, Ione Larson, Joyce Schuld, Mary Marshall, Jane Moldenhauer, and Jean Zimmermann.

Our family would like to acknowledge the wonderful care, expertise, compassion and gentle respect while mom was in Hillside Manor and Marshfield Clinic hospital in Beaver Dam.
