Faye Frances Glaspell

Faye Frances Frye Glaspell, 91, of Clarksburg, passed away on Friday, April 25, 2025. She was born on October 22, 1933, a daughter of the late Merle Franklin Frye and Anna Starcher Frye.
Faye was preceded in death by her loving husband, of 61 happy years, Paul O. Glaspell, Sr., whom she married on July 23, 1949.
She is survived by her children, Paul Glaspell, Jr. (Mary Ann) of Bridgeport, Candace Parker (Robert) of Salem, and James Glaspell (Teresa) of Reynoldsville; 12 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren, and 21 great-great grandchildren.
Along with her husband, she was preceded in death by a son, Terry Glaspell; her brothers, James Frye, Charles Frye, Herman Fye, and Clyde Frye; her sisters, Ethel Baldwin, and Alice Workman; and daughter-in-law, Mary Rosella Glaspell.
Faye was a member of the Christian Apostolic Church.
The family would like to give special thanks to her caregivers, Ivy Wiseman and Kayle Lamp, for their generous and compassionate care for the past year and a half.
Friends will be received at Burnside Funeral Home, 607 S. Virginia Avenue, Bridgeport, on Tuesday, April 29, 2025 from 10 a.m.-1 p.m., where services will be held at 1 p.m. with Pastor Douglas Joseph presiding. Interment will follow at the Sunset Memorial Park Cemetery.
