Faye Leverett

Charlotte Faye Leverett, 66, of Summerville, SC, a retired production worker for Salisbury by Honeywell, passed away Saturday morning at her residence.

Faye was born August 30, 1959, in Charleston, SC, a daughter of David Lawrence Leverett, Jr. and Alma Easterling Leverett. She was of the Baptist faith and found joy in the simple pleasures of life. She loved being on the water, boating with family and friends, and she enjoyed the freedom of riding motorcycles. Above all, her greatest happiness came from the time she spent with her grandchildren, who were the light of her life.

Faye devoted herself to caring for her father prior to his passing in 2023, a reflection of her loyal and loving nature. She also cherished long conversations on the phone, keeping close connections with the people she loved most.

She was preceded in death by a son, Davie C. Harper, III.

Surviving are her daughter, Jennifer Futrell of Summerville; her son, Alan Keith Harper of Utah; two brothers, David L. Leverett, III and his wife Stephanie, and Clay Leverett and his wife Carol, all of Summerville; as well as many grandchildren and many great-grandchildren.

Ms. Leverett's funeral service will be 12:30 PM Tuesday afternoon, January 27, 2026, in the Chapel of Dial-Murray Funeral Home, Moncks Corner. Interment will follow in Carolina Memorial Park, North Charleston. The Family will receive friends at the funeral home Tuesday from 11:00 AM until the hour of service.
