Faye Lewis Obituary

Faye was born November 30, 1960 in Hazelhurst, Mississippi to Donna Emily Foss and the late Kenneth Alexander Culbreth. She was preceded in death by her son, Alexander Ray Lewis; father, Kenneth Alexander Culbreth; brother, Stephen Ray Culbreth.
Faye was a planner performing transportation planning, zoning and subdivision enforcement for Mid Carolina Council of Government.
Faye loved her family especially her children and grandchildren. She loved Elvis and the Beatles. Faye loved Southern Blue Grass Music and traveling with her family to the NC Beach and Mountains. One of her favorite places she ever traveled was Las Vegas, Nevada. She was very creative and enjoyed drawing and painting.
Memorial services will be held on Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 3:00 pm at Salem United Methodist Church, with Rev. Gill Wise, officiating. The family will receive friends at the Church on Sunday from 2-3:00 pm.
Faye is survived by her husband of 24 years, Randy Scott Lewis; daughter, Jessica Murray and husband Patrick; mother, Donna Foss Culbreth; nephews, Russell Culbreth, Robert Culbreth (Valerie), niece, Stephanie Salazar (Alex); like a sister, Dot Brown (Fred); cousin, Angie Perry (Mark).
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Suicide Awareness Voices of Education (SAVE) in memory of Alexander Ray Lewis.

i just heard this sad news
i hadn´t seen faye in too long i´ll never forget the trip to Ocracoke it was a blast !

I worked with Faye at the County for years and enjoyed getting to know her. She always had an encouraging smile even when times weren't the best. She will be missed. RIP.
