Mrs. Faye Lower, 89, of Savannah, Georgia, passed away on Sunday, February 8, 2026 at Memorial Hospital.
Faye was born in Savannah, Georgia and was preceded in death by her husband, Larry Lawrence Lower; parents, Arthur and Nettie Douglas; brother-in-law, Curtis Jones; son, James Alton Barrentine III; beloved son-in-law, Andy Beasley, and step-daughter, Lori Brady. She was a former member of Chevis Oaks Baptist Church and a current member of Bonnybridge Baptist Church. She worked in retail most of her life, including at Chatham Furniture and Uniform Source. She enjoyed going with her sister shopping and getting their hair done. She will be remembered for being a Christian, loving lady, and most of all, for loving her family.
Faye will be missed by her daughter who loved her with all of her heart, Saundra Beasley; grandchildren, Tony (Ashley) Beasley, Dawn (Brent) Arledge; daughter-in-law, Alice Barrentine; grandchildren, James Alton Barrentine IV and Jamie Willingham; son-in-law, Robert “Bob” Brady, Sr.; grandchildren, Robert B. Brady, Jr. and Kendal (Ryan) Knight; great-grandchildren, Landen Lane, Raegann Arledge, Brady Arledge, Camden Lane, Odessa Beasley, Isabella Knight, and Owen Knight; beloved sisters, Sue Jones and Lori (Jimmy) Redd; beloved brothers, Jack (Amy) Douglas and Charles (Judy) Douglas as well as nieces and nephews that she thought of every day.
